Optically-Triggered Self-Adaptive Zero Voltage Switching

چکیده
Zero voltage switching (ZVS) is useful to increase power electronics efficiency but difficult achieve due the non-linear parasitic capacitance of semiconductors and varying load current. This letter proposes a self-adaptive ZVS method by using intrinsic electroluminescence (EL) property SiC MOSFETs automatically adjust frequency in every cycle retain optimal A sensing circuit developed digitally utilize EL trigger embodied customized PCB-embedded half-bridge module. Experimental results demonstrate effectiveness proposed optically-triggered Buck converter. The compatible with conventional PWM gate drives for various electronic devices applications.
